I am one of those people who answered the survey for Jackie. I love her books but this one was special.I lost my son in a car accident. I would like to think that he had asked for a moment with me as Ben did with Jenny. I think everyone who has lost someone would like to have one more moment.
I still miss my son dreadfully but I gave up the guilt a long time ago. I still cry over certain songs or memories. But I have three daughters who needed me when he died. I tucked his memory into a corner and I bring it out every single day
and go through all of them.
Losing a child is a mother's worst nightmare. Sometimes I feel like I have lost a limb and no one can see it but me. This book shows me there are a lot of people out there who have lost someone they love. I believe each and every one would give anything to visit the other side of heaven if only for a moment with that loved one.

This is different than the author's usual style of book but it was fantastic! A book that makes me cry at the end is always a keeper. Recommending to friends and family and to the general public!
Jackie out did herself with this one.... While its not a subject she normally writes about !!! Maybe SHE SHOULD..Thanks Jackie for another great book! And really thanks for the "pre-preview" .... Buy ...Buy ...Buy !
Well, it took me a while to post a review. I had to read the book twice. Dealing with loved ones who have passed and there are issues to resolve or just saying good bye......I love how Jacqueline Druga (who is a post apocalypse writer) took us on this spiritual journey.

This is one of the best books I've read on what happens after death. Only the few who have come back really know, but Jacqueline Druga has clearly done her homework on this one. A woman dies and comes back to life after visiting Heaven. That's what we usually hear. Ms. Druga puts a different spin on the incident. Included in her book are a number of true accounts of people who want to contact a loved one "on the other side". After reading the main story, I read those stories from the people who contacted Ms. Druga about their need for Resolution with a loved one. There's no doubt about the grief these people feel. It was fascinating to read and heart-breaking to think about how loving someone and then losing them affected those left behind. It's a great read! I loved it.

It was good up to about half way, and then it just became monotonous.
I love love love Jacqueline Druga's work. I wanted to be immersed in this one as I've been by her other books. Instead I was never absorbed in the story, never connected with the characters. The idea is great but it felt more like we skimmed the surface throughout.
